Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Since 1981.
What is your primary product or service?
Legal services to individuals, families, and small businesses.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have wanted to be a lawyer representing individuals, families, and small businesses since I served as a student advocate in University disciplinary hearings while I was an undergrad at Penn State Main Campus. While an undergrad, I also worked as a carpenter. After graduating, i worked in construction estimating and management to gain practical experience in construction cost and claims managment as well as real estate. I concentrated my elective studies at Widener Law School in the areas of commercial transactions, real estate law, and bankruptcy law. Wills and estates are required study for all law students.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
By our personalized service and zealous and pationate representation of our clients. When we represent you, you will always be dealing with a partner. We have both been lawyers for over thirty years and acquired the experience to represent you effectively and efficiently. We offer reasonable fees for excellant service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Having only one location allows us to concentrate on representing our clients rather than being distracted by managing extra offices.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Call us for directions.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks, wire transfers. We do not accept credit cards following extensive research indicating that their acceptance would result in fees that would add between 3% and 5% in costs that benefit neither our clients nor our firm.
Additionally, we generally discourage the use of credit cards to borrow money, as opposed to paying for goods or services for which funds are available. Credit card debt caused by borrowing money on credit cards at 9% to 24% interest rates is the second highest cause of bankruptcy. The first is medical bills for catestrophic medical conditions such as cancer. We can almost always help you to fund legal representation without credit cards. Just ask us.
Which areas do you service?
The Main Line, Delaware County, Montgomery County, Chester County, and Philadelphia.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Robert G. Williamson and Paula M. Williams.
What are your hours of operation?
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Apointments are required and available outside regular hours.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That I have exceeded the client's expections and provided relief from what seemed to be an impossible and unsolvable situation.
